TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Terms and conditions contained herein are legally binding. 

 

By placing an order with the website www.Vuestro.Furniture either by online or phone you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions listed and will override any terms and conditions proposed by the purchaser. 

 

We recommend that you do not proceed with your purchase until you have read and agreed with these terms and conditions. 

 

Product specifications 

1.1 We will endeavour to display our products within the website as accurately as possible; however, there is no guarantee the completeness or accuracy of the pictures or photographs that are shown. 

 

We and our suppliers continually develop our products and reserve the right to amend any specification of goods or products without prior notice; this may include adjustment of sizes or detailing. Please email or call if a small adjustment to size will make an item unusable when it arrives. 

 

1.2 No two products will ever be identical; where our furniture is made from natural wood and accordingly, appearances may vary. Reclaimed material has character, history and has experience. There may well be battle scars and the odd imperfection. When ANY kind of wood is affected by unknown elements such as central heating it can cause minor warping, shaping and drying which add to the character. Some woods will have varying degrees of distressing applied; this is very much intended and makes each piece totally unique as intended by the craftsmen. We sell only genuine rustic designs; therefore, you will find that wood splints, knots, nail holes, wood filling, purpose distressing, antiquating, and scratch marks are common and are intended as part of the manufacturing process; they are not defects. It is common certain ranges will have extra distressing applied to make them appear as a dulling or a rubbing affect to the oil finish as our products are made from reclaimed materials. 

 

1.3 Part assembly, may be required in some cases. This is to protect some items during carriage. It is recommended that if you are not practically minded you contact us to let us know on order. Instructions will be provided on request for all items needing assembly. We will not be responsible for damage occurring during the self-assembly process. 

 

2. Prices and Discounts 

 

2.1 All prices include VAT (Value added Tax) where appropriate, at the prevailing rate and are subject to any promotional offer or discount. We will not be bound to honour any prices where we have indicated to you subsequently that the prices displayed have been displayed in error. In these cases, a full refund will be given. For new orders, we will not refund the price difference or price match once an order has been placed. If an order is cancelled, then re-ordered to the same address than an administration charge of £50 will be charged to that same address.

       3. Payment 

 

3.1 Payment will be taken in full at the time of the order. Unless otherwise stated or available at check out. 

 

3.2 You must pay by credit card, debit card, or by using any of our payment's partners available at checkout. The price of any product is the price in place at the date and time of your order. You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing products which may be offered by us on our website or in our stores will be correct; the credit, finance, or debit card that you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of any products. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit or debit card details before accepting your order. 

 

3.3 We reserve the rights to refuse any orders placed by you. 

 

3.4 An additional option of consumer finance may be taken by you subject to status. The contract shall not have been concluded until any documents that require signatures are returned and completed. We cannot be responsible for any delays to your delivery caused by the late return of the signed finance agreements. 

 

      4. Deliveries 

 

4.1 We are able to deliver orders to you if you have a permanent mainland address in England, Scotland or Wales. Delivery to certain postcodes may take longer. Delivery dates aim to be confirmed via email or text message prior to your delivery date. Where the email does not contain a date, we will endeavour to fulfil your orders within the time scales advertised on the individual products on your order. All purchases must make an allowance of 15 to 20 working days from the date of dispatch for our couriers to fulfil the final delivery to your home. We aim to be well under this time frame. 

 

Standard delivery will be free. Standard delivery is by a 2-man team and carried to a ground floor room of choice only with the exception of small items and garden furniture which are delivered to the door and kerbside respectively. Customers should prepare for the delivery and make their own arrangements to transfer their package to a room of their own choice above the second floor.  Customers selecting assembly of goods may be eligible for removal of packaging. Please be aware removal and disposal of the packaging will deem the goods as been accepted and free from fault. All deliveries will be subject to uninterrupted access to the room of choice, please ensure you check the dimensions of your purchase before ordering to ensure they will fit into your home, otherwise, you may be liable for cancellation of delivery, paragraph 4.2 will apply. 

 

4.2 Orders take 2-3 days to deliver once the items have left our warehouse; therefore, any amendments to the delivery time, date and lack of safe access, no access or cancellation will incur the following charges: 

 

Per item £50.00 

3 items or above £150.00 

Wardrobes £100.00 

Garden Furniture £100.00 

 

4.3 You are responsible for providing a safe means of access from the public highway to the place of delivery. If our courier considered that access is unsafe, we will not deliver the goods until safe access is provided and you may be liable for cancellation of delivery, paragraph 4.2 will apply. 

 

4.4 Any changes made to your order may impact on the stipulated delivery date. If we are unable to deliver your entire order on the same day, we have the option to deliver in instalments. We will not charge for this service unless it is at your own request for us to do so, paragraph 4.2 will apply. 

 

4.5 If we are responsible for any damage to goods in the course of delivery, our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the goods to the value there-of. If there is any damage to the property, the delivery company will be solely responsible. We will do everything possible to help resolve any damage to your property. It is the customer’s responsibility to remove any trip hazards, furniture, wall fixtures or ornaments that will constrict the path. Although many of our couriers provide floor protection it is ultimately your responsibility to protect your floors and carpets. 

 

4.6 We will not be liable for any loss or damage of any reasonable delay of any foreseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of www.Vuestro.Furniture or any reasonable rescheduling of delivery. 

 

4.7 Failed deliveries will be charged at our delivery companies’ rates for any given item and will not be rescheduled until payment has been received. We will never charge more than the fees laid down in Para 4.2. You have the right to cancel your order after a failed delivery. However, any refund will be minus the delivery companies’ standard charge for the entire order. Delivery company prices are available on request. These charges are variable by the delivery company. To be fair to all of our customers, we will only charge the rate we ourselves are charged. 

 

       5. Returns, refunds and your right to cancel 

 

  

 

5.1 Your rights to cancel where you change your mind as a consumer (i.e. not buying the product(s) in the course of your business) then you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after delivery without giving any reason. The “cancellation period”. 

 

5.2 The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the delivery date. After 14 days have expired, we do not accept returns of any items purchased unless faulty or not as described. 

 

5.3 If you have received your order and you wish to cancel, you must return the items to us within 14 days from the date of your cancellation. We ask that you return your items to us in or with their original packaging to protect the items while they travel back to us. If you use your own packaging, please ensure that it provides adequate protection for the Items inside. If when we receive your item we deem that your packaging is not appropriate for transit, we may charge you a reasonable sum to repackage the items to a sufficient standard or if we do accept the Item we will make a deduction where the inappropriate packaging or unreasonable handling has diminished the value of the Items. Nothing in this paragraph affects your statutory rights. 

 

5.4 Except where your Items are faulty or not as described, you will have the direct cost of returning any items to us.  If you would like us to collect the items from you, then you agree that we may charge you the return fees based on the size of each product to cover our direct costs as per Para 4.2 

 

5.6 Please note the largest item will always be considered the first item and any smaller items will make up the balance of the fees listed in Para 4.2 

 

5.7 If you decide to cancel your order, We will reimburse you for all payments which we have received from you in relation to your order, including the cost of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive option offered by us, less any return fees 

 

5.8 We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of the Items supplied up to the total price of the Item if the loss is the result of damage caused whilst the Item was under your care. 

 

5.9 Return of items subject to Credit. The purchase of any Items on credit terms is made concurrently with a finance agreement between you and the finance company. In the event that you seek to return items that have been purchased under a finance agreement, we will return to the finance company any and all sums advanced by the finance company in relation to their agreement with you once we have received the returned items (if applicable) plus any return fees. 

 

5.10 After this 14 day period has expired we will be unable to accept returns of any items purchased unless faulty.  For an item to be classified as faulty the Item must be in less than perfect condition, dysfunctional or of un-merchantable quality at the time of delivery.  A fault may also be classified as a defect which manifests itself within a reasonable period of time after delivery which can be attributed unanimously to a manufacturing defect or poor-quality workmanship and not due to maltreatment by the customer. 

 

5.11 Subject to your statutory rights, Items made or altered specifically for you, may not be returned nor will we provide any refund, unless they are defective or have been accidentally damaged by us in the course of delivery. 

 

5.12 Additional Services such as Assembly and Pallet Deliveries are none refundable once service has been completed. 

 

5.13 Area postcodes listed in para 4.2 will incur surcharges. If items have been assembled then these items cannot be returned. Please note that if an assembly service has been used to refuse the order before the items are assembled to qualify for a change of mind return. 

 

5.14 We will return items for If we deliver incorrect or damaged goods, or if you discover any defect in the goods for which you require compensation or another remedy, you must report the defect within 48Hrs, after which no item will be accepted for return unless faulty. A fault may be classified as a defect that manifests itself within 30 days of delivery and not due to maltreatment by the customer. We will not accept any returns for any reason after 30 days of delivery. All items that are to be returned for damage must be photographed and sent to us for approval. 

 

5.15 Each case is reviewed within its own merits, if we accept your claim; we will remedy the situation by way of repair, allowance, replacement or refund. We will not be reliable for any damage or loss resulting from repairs attempted by you or third parties. Refunds will only be processed once the item has been collected. We will also not cover for loses of third party assembly this includes when you have pre-booked assembly prior to having your furniture delivered. We advise you to check your furniture prior to arranging a third party to assemble. 

 

5.16 All items of furniture are purchased as individual items and as such we will only refund and replace any items that are defective or damaged. You are not entitled to reject other items purchased together with the damaged or defective item. In event that the replacement items are not available, we will refund the purchase price or offer as a similar item from another range which we believe compliments the other items you have purchased. 

 

5.17 Any made to measure furniture will not be offered for a full refund due to restocking costs. The customer will receive 60% of the order amount and the remaining 40% will be passed to the manufacturer as a restocking fee. We will not accept any returns including damaged items which have been self-assembled; you must fully check your item before it’s assembled. 

 

5.18 Collection of goods: if a customer has collected the goods either form our distribution centre/warehouse/showroom they cannot be returned unless they have a manufacturing fault. 

 

      6. Vuestro Furniture Ltd PRIVACY AND PROTECTION 

 

6.1 Vuestro Furniture Ltd take information about you in order that we can respond to your queries and tailor our support to tailor to your needs. We do not provide any information to third party companies or share with affiliates 

 

       7. Applicable Law 

 

7.1 We control and operate the website from our offices within the UK according to the laws of England and Wales government relating to, including the use of this website and the materials contained therein. If you chose to access our website from outside England and Wales the laws of England and Wales will apply at all times. 

 

      8. Site Content 

 

8.1 Every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of this website (www.Vuestro.Furniture) however some prices/details contained therein may change from time to time and is possible errors will occur. We will use our best endeavours to rectify any errors as soon as possible. 

 

8.2 Vuestro Furniture Ltd makes every effort to ensure this website is free from viruses or defects. However, due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website won’t affect your computer. We recommend for purchase of anti-virus software in order to use this website. Vuestro Furniture Ltd shall not be liable in the event that while using this website your computer equipment is damaged.
